While working as a Security Officer at a Denver Public Library, Tyrone Short was inspired by the joy of the kids that gathered for the Storytime. The smiles and the excitement that I saw on the kids' faces as they entered the library and saw my face, helped me realize my purpose for being there, and it was for the protection of them. For the many parents that stated to me that I was their child's favorite person, this book is for them, because they are truly cool kids.
